OUR RESEARCH FOCUS

Our research group investigates the molecular mechanisms governing the fate of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells in health and disease.

Healthy HSPCs generate the full spectrum of blood and immune cells through tightly regulated self-renewal and differentiation capacities.

Perturbations of these properties can lead to blood cancers, such as leukemia.

TREMBLAY LAB joins the Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM) - the first research facility dedicated exclusively to pediatric research in the prairie provinces.

September 2022

TREMBLAY LAB joins the Paul Albrechtsen Research Institute @ CancerCare Manitoba and the Department of Immunology, University of Manitoba.
